Noro Hat Madness

This is my all time favourite knitted hat pattern, in wool that I love!

If you have knit with wool from Noro before, you will completely understand why…. the choice of colours and feel of the wool is just wonderful!  Named after the founder and yarn designer Eisaku Noro, the company is famous for its outstanding and extravagant yarns and color compositions.

The pattern can be found here.   I used Noro Kureyon and 4.5mm circular needles. It took just over one ball to make it!  I have made 5 of these in total (to date) for friends, family and myself, and we all love them to bits!

When I ran out of Noro wool, I used wool from other projects to make more – My friend Holly had a lovely had knit with a different wool, of similar weight – it is such a flexible pattern, that you can play around with it!
